The National Auto Body Council (NABC) is pleased to extend you an exceptional, memorable opportunity: the chance to participate in our nationwide vehicle donation program, Recycled Rides.
Recycled Rides is a unique and meaningful community awareness project in which NABC members repair and donate recycled vehicles to families in need throughout the United States. Repairers, insurers, car rental companies, paint suppliers, parts suppliers and material vendors all contribute in their own specific ways. Last year 47 vehicles were given to needy families throughout the USA thanks to an amazing team effort. The goal of Recycled Rides is to build upon this promising start.
Benefits to vehicle recipients are significant, potentially life-changing in some cases, which is why donating participants achieve a true sense of fulfillment. As an added bonus, these projects help raise community awareness of involved repairers. Shops, insurers, charities and vendors who participated in last year’s Recycled Rides received hundreds of thousands of dollars in local media exposure.
NABC’s motto is, “Changing the image of our industry, one consumer at a time.” Recycled Rides brings those words to life. It and other community and charitable programs are the instruments through which NABC assists collision repairers in enhancing their image.
Please note the deadline for shops to sign-up is April 15, 2009.
Additional information about Recycled Rides is available on the NABC Web site (www.autobodycouncil.org), along with an NABC application form (make sure you select the “Recycled Rides” tab on the left side of NABC’s home page). We are offering a 20% membership discount to first-time NABC members who are interested in participating in Recycled Rides.
